Celebrating Achievements at Tangier Combined School

Tangier Combined School has long been a community center, providing K-12 education for around 40 students with a favorable 5:1 student-teacher ratio. Remembering Dana Keith Dise: A Life Well-Lived

The funeral service for Dana Keith Dise, a respected waterman from Tangier, took place at Swain Memorial Church, attended by many. Dise, who passed away at 71, was remembered for his strong faith, family values, and community contributions. Tributes highlighted his life as a devoted husband, father, and diligent worker on the water.

Town Council meets Thursday

The Tangier Town Council will convene at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Swain Memorial Methodist Church’s Educational Building.
