The agenda for Friday’s Tangier Town Council meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Tangier Combined School, is published below.
Item of interest — Town Council discussed the appointment of Normand St-Pierre last Friday, May 16, at the “new” Town Office. The official vote on St-Pierre’s appointment will occur at Friday’s meeting. If appointed, St-Pierre would fill the seat vacated by Sharon Haynie in April.
On a related note, April’s meeting minutes will be published as soon as the Town Council approves them on Friday and I receive them to post to the web. I miss Tangier — Council, good luck with your meeting. Go with God!
