Snowy Scenes of Tangier Island

Andrea Crockett sent over these photos — life on Tangier during and after a few inches of snowfall — see below. Looks like folks walked around and marveled at God’s creation on a snowy day.

There are also photos by Danielle Crockett — VERY NICE — showing snowy scenes from around the Island. Love the Christ Is Life photo. Thanks for taking that picture.

And there is this great photo, featured as the opening photo for the post, from Barb Baechtel, sort of a sky shot, a good one, of the Brigadune Inn, a great place to stay whether there is snow on the ground or when the grass is green with snowy egrets tip toeing in the water near that iconic Christ Is Life cross that Mayor Ooker Eskridge planted in the marsh. See below for the non-cropped version of Baechtel’s photo.

If you folks have photos, I can post them to our website — send them to mileslayton1969@gmail.com OR send them to me via Facebook Messenger.
